If Your Marketing Affiliate Program then You Need You Own Website
If you’ve been looking around this website then you already know what affiliate programs are and as I have said on other posts, every affiliate program you join will supply you with a turnkey site or sales page to promote their product or service.
You need to decide whether you are going to use this website to make sales or whether to set up your own site.
I would say that you absolutely MUST get your own domain name and hosting , even if you are only going to sell affiliate products.
If you build your own website then it will be yours forever whether your chosen affiliate program continues or not. This is the main reason why you need your own site. What happens if after months or even years of promoting an affiliate page the business decides that it’s going to pull the plug. Well, I’ll tell you what happens, your years of hard works goes down the drain too.
BUT….if you promote the affiliate products or services from your own site then IF a certain company goes to the wall, you simply remove it’s links from YOUR site and switch them to one of your other affiliate products.
