Because the products are digital, the vendors are prepared to pay as much as 75% in commission to the affiliate.
The new marketer is given an identification by the network, which they then use in all of their promotions. You can promote multiple products at any one time, and once you have surpassed the minimum amount, you are paid in the form of a monthly check for all of the commissions you have earned.
As Clickbank only handles digital products, many affiliate marketers will expand by joining other networks such as RoiRocket, Commission Junction and Linkshare, which operate a similar system, but sell physical products as well, often from very well known, well established businesses.
With these networks you will have to prove yourself by having your website checked for suitability, but again there is no joining charge. These networks will pay their affiliates with direct deposit to their bank account. Affiliate marketing keeps on growing as the internet continues to expand, and the opportunities to get involved get greater all the time.
